Microsoft has now announced new data and AI products to help healthcare organizations access and learn from the vast amount of information collected by doctors and hospitals.

The healthcare industry generates over 30% of global data, but it can be difficult to leverage due to different systems and formats. Microsoft developed healthcare-specific tools in its Fabric platform to combine data from various sources and make it easily accessible.

The tools eliminate the time-consuming process of searching through multiple sources. Microsoft has been trialing Fabric with select customers and it is available in a preview capacity. The new tools aim to improve care and patient flow.

Microsoft also introduced new tools within its Azure AI services, including a generative AI chatbot and Text Analytics for health.
